The CDA Story
Our Story
CDA Coliving started with a simple observation: renting in Australia is harder than it should be. Between finding reliable housemates, setting up utilities, sourcing furniture, and navigating lease agreements, the process is exhausting, especially for students and newcomers.
We set out to fix that. Starting in Sydney, we built a model around value-driven furnished rooms with one all-inclusive payment. We partnered with property owners who trusted us to look after their homes and fill them with respectful tenants. We made mistakes along the way, and we learned from every one.
Through COVID, we doubled down on our relationships with owners and our commitment to residents. We expanded to Brisbane, Townsville, and Tasmania. Today, we house over 1,500 people across Australia's east coast, and we're still growing, still learning, and still finding ways to do this better.
We don't pretend to be perfect. We learn from our mistakes and get better every time. That authenticity drives trust, with both our residents and our property partners.
